New Year Cocktails:
Champagne Royal Shooter

1/4 oz. Chambord
1-3/4 oz. Champagne

Build.  Toast and "Shoot!" *

*Numerous toasts are given to shot glass drinks:  "Here's looking at you!", "Bottoms Up!", "Down the hatch!", "To your health!" and many others.  See our Holiday Toasts for more.

Black Tie Martini

1-1/2 oz.Absolut Vodka
spritz Campari
spritz Chivas
2 Cocktail Onions
1 Black Olive

Serve in your most elegant martini glass!

The most famous of the "Hair of the Dog" morning after cocktails:

Bloody Mary

1-1/4 oz.  Vodka
2-1/2 oz. Tomato Juice
dash Worcestershire Sauce
dash Tabasco Sauce
dash Salt and Pepper

Pour vodka over ice in a glass.  Fill with tomato juice.  Add a dash or two of worcestershire sauce and tabasco sauce.  Stir and garnish with a celery stalk.  

For those who enjoy their Bloody Marys extremely spicy, add more Tabasco.

Champagne Cocktail

3 oz. Champagne, chilled
1 cube Sugar
dash Angostura Bitters

Stir ingredients slowly.  Garnish with a Lemon twist.

(Try not to use your best champagne for mixing!)

Champagne Punch Royale

1 bottle Sparkling Wine, chilled
1/3 cup  Royale Montaine Cognac and Orange Liqueur
1 cup  Sliced Strawberries
1 cup Orange Juice
1 small bottle Club Soda
2 tbsp. Sugar

Place sliced strawberries in a large bowl and sprinkle with sugar.  Add orange juice, cognac and orange liqueur.  Macerate for 1 hour.  Add the chilled sparkling wine and club soda before serving.

Recipe makes approximately 8 servings.

Bacardi Confetti Punch

1 bottle Bacardi Light Rum (750-ml.)
6 oz. can Frozen Lemonade Concentrate
6 oz. can Frozen Grapefruit Juice Concentrate
6 oz. can Fruit Cocktail, drained
1 bottle Club Soda, chilled (2 liters)

Combine the first four ingredients in a large container and chill for two hours, stirring occassionally.  To serve, pour the mixture over ice in a punch bowl and add the two liters of chilled club soda.  Stir gently.

Recipe makes approximately 8 servings.
